The Grand Canyon

We decided last minute to pack up our little Pomeranian and take a short 2.5 hour road trip to Flagstaff for the night. Since we took the dog, we were limited on where we could stay and it was New Year's Eve and the last minute. We ended up staying at a Ramada Inn which I probably would not recommend to anyone. We wanted to see some snow (which is not something we get to see in Phoenix) so we drove up to the Snow Bowl. A lot of people from Arizona go up here to ski. We just wanted to see a little of the white stuff.

Then we took another short drive to the Grand Canyon. It was unreal. Unfortunately, this Texas native (who currently lives in Phoenix) does not love the cold. We walked around for a bit, took some pictures and headed back home. 

I wish we could say we did a lot, but not this time.
